Cornerstone Boxing Christian Ministries would like to Thank You for your time and consideration as the Ministry seeks the necessary funding to obtain our non-profit license, sports equipment as well as provide the youth of the Greater Las Vegas area with an avenue to stay in school and off the streets.  Any proceeds and donations will help the Ministry reach out and be successful.

Currently, our Ministry Outreach Fundraising Program is now underway.  Our Mission is to reach our youth and give them a positive message by first teaching them about Christ our Savior.  We work together to unlock the potential in each youth to be successful in life through mentoring, positive discipline, bible studies and the development of an organized sports ministry.  While teaching them the importance of staying educated and away from wrongdoing, we equip them with the essential tools of survival, respect, responsibility and help further their interest to receive a higher education. The Boxing Ministry is truly secondary… our heart and focus is to evangelize and preach Christ.  Therefore, Cornerstone Boxing recognizes that they are many worthy organizations willing to provide to our fundraising efforts.  We pray and hope that you as a company will consider in donating to our Ministry and to make a positive impact in the lives of our youth in the Greater Las Vegas area.  All proceeds and donations will go directly to the Ministry.

Cornerstone at Richard Steele’s

The beginning of God’s work through Cornerstone Boxing Christian Ministries at Richard Steele’s Boxing Club.

Sal’s desire to teach the Holy bible about our Savior Jesus Christ through boxing training was in his thoughts since 2006.  Sal’s background with boxing and where he grew up gave him part of  His desire to reach out to the inner-city youth. We were praying and in the search for a location to start the ministry around July of 2008. We stopped in to speak to Richard Steele at his boxing club in the month of September 2008. As we were only searching for a few days ,when we walked into the gym we had a meeting with Richard Steele and we mentioned that we would be reading the bible to the youth. Richard Steele’s boxing club was not the first boxing gym we went to. Sal had already been to a few boxing gyms before. As we were talking to Richard Steele, he reached into his desk and pulled out His bible. While holding the bible  in  the air, his words were ” If your teaching from this it is OK.” While he was referring to the Holy Bible. We came back to speak to him in December 2008 and told him we were taking up his offer and starting in January 2009.

We thank God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for blessing us with Richard Steele, and Dr. Jones.

“Just Wondering, are you promoting violence? There are other ways to reach people into the word of GOD. Have you tried the strip? There are a lot of people that could use the word there. Be honest with your selves, why are you truly doing this? Please don’t give True Christians a bad name, its bad enough. This is why people stay away from Christianity.”
